This food truck ordering app was designed as part of my Google UX/UI Design Certificate through Coursera, focused on creating an intuitive mobile experience for customers to find a food truck, browse the menu, and place an order with minimal friction. While the project was rooted in accessibility and location-based discovery, it became personal during development—my grandmother passed away, and I chose to name the concept in her honor while keeping the original goal and course requirements intact.
Working independently, I developed the brand and product foundation from the ground up, including a custom logo, modern visual direction, and a cohesive system of color and typography. From there, I built wireframes and a design system, created a low-fidelity prototype, and finalized the experience in Figma as a high-fidelity prototype—prioritizing clarity, legibility, and a seamless ordering flow. I intentionally avoided generated logo shortcuts and designed the identity myself to keep the project original and meaningful.
This project served as a key milestone in my UX/UI learning journey and helped me successfully complete one of my certificate program deliverables. Below you’ll find mockups, links to the Figma artboards, and the full case study walkthrough.
