SlicVics Detailing is a startup brand identity project created to help a new detailing service launch with a clean, professional look from day one. Over a two-week timeline, I worked as the freelance designer to build a modern, minimalist identity system that would translate well across small applications like social media, business cards, and vehicle-related touchpoints.
The client needed a logo to establish credibility and start marketing the business, but didn’t yet have a cohesive identity. Victor had a strong initial idea of what he wanted, so I focused on asking the right questions and providing direction to refine his vision into a clear, functional mark. Working within a budget under $200, I delivered a primary logo, badge, and secondary mark supported by a simple brand system—color, typography, and layout consistency.
The final identity avoided overly complex details to ensure legibility at small sizes and reliable reproduction in print and digital use. The new brand helped increase recognition and supported higher booking momentum as the business began promoting its services.
The SlicVics Detailing logo was designed to feel modern, clean, and instantly legible across small and large applications. Victor specifically wanted Chicago colors and a recognizable skyline to represent where he’s from and what shaped his identity. I combined the skyline with a sleek car silhouette and bold, modern typography—creating a “slic” mark (pun intended) that communicates speed, shine, and trust while staying simple enough to reproduce consistently.
